Royal Dornoch has two golf courses: the famous Championship course and the 'Struie' - which has been greatly improved over recent years. Also within a few miles are other excellent courses, such as Tain, Golspie and Brora.
For those of you who prefer walking without golf clubs, there are numerous forest walks - some, suitable for mountain biking.
Anglers are well catered for, with sea, loch or river permits available locally.
There is a wealth of wildlife in the area, from seals to deer, ducks to dolphins, birds of prey and even Pine Martens. It's all a nature-lover's paradise.
